Spend local, give global.
Help care for vulnerable kids and families in our community and beyond.
MISSION Impact – local and global.
The word “impact” can be defined as having a significant effect on someone or something.
Around here, the “someone” represents the thousands of vulnerable kids God has placed within our view; and the “effect” is changing their lives by caring for them the way Jesus commanded us to.
Simply put, Impact is our ministry for caring for vulnerable kids both in our community and around the world.
And for us, it’s nothing new.
Through all of our ups and downs, MISSION has had a long history of doing this kind of work, going back decades even. We have called it different things, but the focus of caring for vulnerable kids has always remained the same.
Over the years, MISSION has done so much, but we’re not done.
Our Annual Generosity Campaign
'Tis the Season of Impact.
Here's what we're doing...
It's that time of year again and we couldn't be more excited to use our generosity to support our local and global impact partners in the important work they do in caring for vulnerable kids and families both in our backyard and on the other side of the world. Global Impact
Our Global Impact Partners
The nation of Malawi is one of poorest on earth and the HIV/AIDs epidemic there has only contributed to the problem. Since 2007, MISSION has partnered with Somebody Cares to help care for thousands of orphans and vulnerable children in a village called Chikudzulire. Over the years, we have provided access to clean drinking water to the village and surrounding area on top of supplying meals to the kids there as result of our Season of Impact.

Affordable housing is something that we often take for granted without realizing how many families go each day without a place to call home. 1MISSION is a community development organization that gives people in poverty the opportunity to earn a house by serving their community. We have partnered with 1MISSION for almost a decade and not only provide financial support but also send multiple teams to help build homes each year.

Access to clean drinking water is critical for life and health and should be a basic human right. In the nation of Malawi, already the poorest in the world, millions do not have access to safe water. MalawiH20 is fundraising to build wells for the water-starved area of Malawi called Chikudzulire. So far, the organization has launched 13 wells and has plans for more.

Our Featured Local Impact Partners
Arizona DCS
MISSION is dedicated to fostering partnerships with DCS (Department of Child Safety) throughout the entire year. Through our impactful collections, we consistently gather essential items aimed at benefiting foster children and the parents who provide foster care. In our most recent endeavor, we distributed a generous supply of 232 empty backpacks, enabling foster placements to replace their reliance on plastic bags with brand-new, sturdy bags for their personal belongings.
This year, our mission extends to sponsoring 500 foster children to ensure they experience the joy of receiving Christmas presents they might not otherwise have received. It's important to note that last year, thanks to your unwavering generosity, we contributed a significant portion, accounting for a remarkable one-quarter of all the gifts distributed across the entire state of Arizona. Your support is truly making a meaningful and positive impact on the lives of foster children and their families.

Phoenix Dream Center
In 2020, a disturbing trend emerged, revealing a staggering 98% increase in online attempts made by sex traffickers in their relentless efforts to recruit vulnerable children. Shockingly, the average age at which at-risk youth fall victim to the clutches of sex trafficking in Arizona stands at a mere 13 years old.
Amidst this grave concern, the Phoenix Dream Center stands as a steadfast guardian, unwavering in its commitment to combat human trafficking and facilitate the restoration of lives shattered by this heinous crime. Their multifaceted approach encompasses the provision of safe and secure housing, spiritual nurturing, the application of a family systems model, access to advanced education, and therapeutic healing.
Notably, the Phoenix Dream Center has designated rooms that are poised for renovation, a pivotal step in expanding their capacity to rescue more children from the clutches of human trafficking. It is with immense gratitude that we acknowledge the tremendous impact of your generosity during the 2022 Season of Impact, as MISSION is able to sponsor the complete renovation of one of these rooms, ushering in hope, safety, and transformation for those who have suffered the most.
