CHIKUDZULIRE, MALAWI
The nation of Malawi is one of poorest on earth and the HIV/AIDs epidemic there has only contributed to the problem. Since 2007, MISSION has partnered with Somebody Cares to help care for thousands of orphans and vulnerable children in a village called Chikudzulire. Over the years, we have provided access to clean drinking water to the village and surrounding area on top of supplying meals to the kids there as result of the Love Works campaign.
LOCAL IMPACT
We do two Love Works Serve Day events each year. During these events, we provide help to some of our local partners who care for vulnerable children and families in our community in a variety of ways. From helping single parents with car maintenance to organizing food banks to cleaning houses for families transitioning our of poverty, we make a great impact.
