Striving for perfection usually causes us either to live in the past or in the future, but rarely in the present. We are either trying to make up for something that happened or didn’t happen in a previous place in life or trying to achieve or arrive at what’s next. All of this keeps us from being where were really are in life which, in turn, impacts our relationships, our personal/emotional well being and often causes us to miss out on some of life’s most important moments.
